THE PARTHENON ATHENS GREECE
Who does not know the Parthenon in Greece? The Parthenon is an ancient Greek temple built in 438 B.C and was to Athena. It is on Acropolis on a hilltop. The view is beautiful. You can see all over Athens! When I first visited the Parthenon with my family I was astounded. The Parthenon is HUGE and MAGNIFICENT! A true state of art! How did the ancient architects manage to build such an outstanding building without machinery? They were brilliant! The Acropolis is my favorite place in Athens! Come to Athens and I will show you the Parthenon!
Great post CHris. I love architecture and I wouldn't mind you showing us around the Parthenon some day. I think my favourite building in Athens is the mosque in Monastiraki.
